WHERE I HELP LEADERS MOVE FORWARD

Practical partnership for boards and executive leaders navigating complex decisions, organizational priorities, and leadership transitions.

—————

Board Effectiveness
Strengthening the structures, preparation, relationships, and practices that help boards contribute at their best.

Executive Decision Support
Bringing context, clarity, and structure to complex information so leaders can make thoughtful, well-informed decisions.

Organizational Effectiveness
Turning complexity into practical processes, clearer roles, stronger information flow, and more effective ways of working.

Leadership Transitions
Helping organizations prepare for and navigate executive transitions with greater clarity, continuity, and confidence.

Every organization’s circumstances are different. My experience may be especially useful when leaders and Boards need help to:

  • Strengthen Board onboarding, mentorship, education, and evaluation practices.

  • Improve the written materials that prepare Boards and executive teams for thoughtful discussion and decision-making.

  • Clarify roles, decision authority, committee responsibilities, and the flow of information between leaders and the Board.

  • Prepare for executive leadership transitions and preserve the context an incoming leader will need.

  • Bring practical structure to complex initiatives involving multiple leaders, functions, or governing bodies.

  • Examine an existing challenge or process, identify what may be getting in the way, and develop a clearer path forward.

Designed executive summaries and information flow so leaders and directors could understand complex matters and act with greater clarity.

Board Readiness & Integration
Built structured onboarding, education, and mentorship practices and onboarded more than 20 new Board members.

Governance Systems & Information Flow
Modernized Board portals, calendars, charters, and documentation practices to create stronger continuity and more effective ways of working.

How I Think About the Work

The strongest organizations create the conditions for people to prepare well, understand what matters, and make thoughtful decisions together.

That requires more than good governance or sound processes. It requires clear roles, useful information, trusted relationships, and the discipline to connect decisions with execution.

Throughout my career, I have helped leaders strengthen those conditions, especially when the work is complex, responsibilities cross boundaries, or an organization is navigating change.

About Sherri

For more than 18 years, I partnered closely with a president and CEO, executive leaders, and Boards in a complex national organization. My work often sat where leadership, governance, information, and execution met, helping people prepare for consequential decisions and turn complexity into practical ways forward.

Leaders often relied on me to see across functions, connect information and people, strengthen preparation, and build structure that made important work easier to understand and carry forward.

At my best, I look across a complex situation, connect the pieces, and help create a clear, practical path forward.

Let’s Connect

If my experience may be useful to your organization, I would be glad to hear from you.

I welcome conversations about executive leadership opportunities, advisory or project-based work, Board effectiveness, leadership transitions, and organizational challenges that would benefit from greater clarity and structure.
